Terminate your Cat8 network cables without the time, effort and expense of a punch-down tool, and wire the 110 IDC module for T568A or T568B without a crimp tool. The N238-SHC8-TF-1 is essential for future-proofing your Gigabit or 10G applications with more affordable, more flexible 25G and 40G Ethernet Cat8 premise wiring in data center, cloud computing or PoE++ applications. It is compatible with surface-mount boxes and other hardware, such as N082-012-WH (sold separately).
Supports PoE++ Applications with up to 100W of Power
Connecting PoE devices saves you the expense and effort of purchasing, connecting and installing individual power supplies for each device, such as video conferencing devices, laptops and flat screens, building management devices and more. The UL-compliant N238-SHC8-TF-1 is 4PPoE (PoE++) compatible and IEEE 802.3bt compliant for PoE applications up to 100 watts. It is also specifically designed to prevent spark-gap erosion that degrades the plug and jack contacts over time and can negatively influence data and/or power transmission capabilities.
